RISKS
Vein disease is a progressive condition. If left untreated, varicose veins can put you at risk for discoloration of skin, especially around the ankles, painful ulcers and occasionally blood clots. Treatment risks are generally considered less than the risks of living with the condition of varicose veins.
Pre VeinwaveTM instructions
To be treated with Veinwave you must:
● Do not apply make-up or lotion on areas to be treated
Post VeinwaveTM instructions
o A few days after the procedure you might develop some inflammation (redness, warmth, pain, swelling and a feeling of tightness or pulling) along the inner aspect of your thigh. This inflammation is part of the healing process and is to be expected. Walking and taking your anti-inflammatory medication, as directed, will help to alleviate the discomfort.
o AVOID prolonged sitting or standing in the same place for the first week.
