Meet Yina Mo, PA-C
Yina Mo, PA-C, is a board-certified Physician Assistant specializing in the diagnosis and treatment of peripheral venous disease. She earned her Master’s in Health Sciences and Physician Assistant Studies in 2016 through the collaborative Anne Arundel Community College/University of Maryland PA Program after completing her undergraduate degree in Neuroscience at the University of Maryland, College Park.
Since 2017, Yina has gained extensive experience in sclerotherapy and the comprehensive management of venous disorders through her work at Vein Clinics of America. She brought her expertise to the Center for Vein Disease in May 2025, where she provides compassionate, patient-centered care to help individuals look and feel their best.

Consultation
Dr. Sonde employs minimally invasive techniques to remove unhealthy veins. These walk-in, walk-out procedures are safe, effective, and cause minimal discomfort. You should be able to resume your normal activities on the same day, though heavy exercise may be limited for a few days.
Depending on the procedure performed, you will be scheduled for follow-up appointments and an ultrasound may be scheduled if necessary. During the follow-up appointment, Dr. Sonde may utilize a technique called Foam Sclerotherapy to treat any residual veins, if needed.
During your consultation with Dr. Sonde, your medical history will be thoroughly reviewed, and your concerns and goals will be discussed in detail. You will be provided with comprehensive information about all your treatment options and the expected recovery process. In some cases, a detailed ultrasound scan may be conducted as a follow-up.
